Finishes and Coatings

Both window and staircase factories benefit from fully equipped paint shop facilities.
All paint systems are water based and applied by compressed air spraying.

Spray booths with filtered extraction systems keep the environment clean, ensuring an excellent finish.
To maximise the working area and minimise handling, racking and tracking systems are fitted for ease of frame movement.

Windows are supplied standard in a semi-finish consisting of one basecoat of stain/primer plus one top coat of water based stain/micro-porous paint. Full factory finished options with a third coat of micro-porous paint are also available.

Windows can be optionally supplied in various RAL colours. Please ask for further details.

Staircases are supplied knotted and primed or treated with one application of base coat sealer. This saves time over on site preparation and offers a level of protection, especially the case with hardwoods items.

We also offer fully finished staircases, predominantly in Satin White or Satin Clear finishes.
